Nikita Kuzmin's Strictly Come Dancing co-stars have been rushing to respond to the big news that he's entered the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The dancer is among the famous faces to have entered the iconic compound during the launch show on Monday night (March 4). It is the first time since 2018 that Celebrity Big Brother has been on screens which was when former Coronation Street star and current Dancing on Ice contestant Ryan Thomas emerged as the winner.

It comes after ITV revived Big Brother with a civilian series in October. And Nikita was among those to have signed up alongside the likes of broadcaster and author Fern Britton, former The X Factor judges Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne, musical theatre actress Marisha Wallace, and Corrie actor Colson Smith. He shared: "I think the audience only knows one side of me and it could be interesting for me to come out of my comfort zone and really enjoy doing something completely different from anything I’ve ever done before and now just seems the perfect time. "I’m young and having a lot of fun doing the thing I love the most so yes, this just seems like a fun thing to do." It came after his intro package which aired live on the launch show, where he labelled himself "flirty" and said he enjoyed "kissing" and "hugging".
