Her dance skills have amazed even the people closest to her - who had no idea she had such a talent. While many may think she has had formal dance training, Ellie's mum tells the MEN that her only dance background was tap and ballet classes "that all young girls do" from the age of 5 to 7.
By the tender age of 9, Ellie had already won her first TV role on Coronation Street as Faye Windass - and acting became her passion.
Now, the Audenshaw actress is tipped as the favourite to take the Glitterball trophy with her professional dance partner Vito Coppola on the Strictly final on Saturday night.
