BBC Strictly Come Dancing confirms huge return of professional dancer two years after exit
manchestereveningnews.co.ukStrictly Come Dancing has announced that Aljaž Škorjanec will return to the ballroom this year, two years after his exit. It was revealed that the fan-favourite dancer will be waltzing back onto our screens for the 20th year of the BBC One dance contest on The One Show on Monday evening (July 8).
The 19-time Slovenian champion in Ballroom, Latin and Ten Dance previously graced the nation with his fancy footwork on Strictly for nine iconic series.
Aljaž and his celebrity partner Abbey Clancy raised the Glitterball in his debut year on the show in 2013 and was a runner up in 2017 with partner Gemma Atkinson.
Other partnerships have included Alison Hammond, Helen George and Dragons' Den star Sara Davies. His back in 2022 also came a mater of weeks after fellow pro, and Dancing On Ice judge, Oti Mabuse announced she was also leaving after seven years on the programme.
