BBC viewers have praised a TV reporter's professionalism after his bag was stolen by a passer by live on air. Journalist Harry Low had been doing a report on Monday night, 30 October, providing the details of Storm Ciaran.

While many didn't notice the incident as it happened, Harry took to Twitter to share why he had frozen halfway through his report.

Posting the clip, he wrote: "A career first last night, my bag was stolen halfway through our live." In the video, Harry can be heard saying: "The Thames burst its banks here about three hours ago, and people are still bailing water out of their cars.

We are seeing vehicle recovery trucks going back and forth, and there is a lot of mud on the ground. "The Environment Agency has issued a flood alert along the Thames, which stretches from Putney Bridge down towards Hampton and Thames Ditton, to warn of flooding and to avoid low-lying footpaths." As the camera panned back to him, he appeared confused and remained silent as he seemingly reacted to the bag being stolen.
