Yet while Sonia has had a rocky run of love over the years, including the tragic death of her first love Jamie Mitchell, a failed marriage to Martin Fowler and a baffling pass at Phil Mitchell, thankfully actress Natalie has had a far less chaotic love life.
In fact, it was while working on the soap that she met her partner Marc Humphreys, who had actually been working as a camera-man on the show for a number of years before he and Natalie began dating.
The couple have now been engaged for the past eight years, with Natalie even describing him as her “soulmate” as the couple continue to plan their wedding together.Things haven’t always been smooth sailing in the actress’ love life however, with a number of challenging relationships in her past, including her abusive relationship with ex-fiancé Adam Cottrell, who she shares daughter Eliza with.
