Baby in 'serious but stable' condition in Manchester hospital after fall from second-floor window

A baby who was rushed to a hospital in Manchester after falling from a window remains in a 'serious but stable' condition. The one-year-old boy was rushed to the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital after he fell from a window on the second floor of a property on Heap Street in Burnley yesterday morning (Sunday).

A number of people rushed to help him before an air ambulance airlifted him for treatment. He remains in a 'serious but stable condition'.

An investigation has been launched by Lancashire Constabulary and police are appealing for witnesses and to locate several people who stopped to help the baby before crews arrived.
