An Ayrshire childminder has been praised for the service she provides in a Care Inspectorate report. Yvonne McTaggart’s quality of care and support, her management and leadership and her home environment were all rated as ‘good’ by the scrutiny body.

The findings come after a recent unannounced inspection into Mrs McTaggart’s service, which is based at her home in Dalrymple.The service is registered to care for seven children at any one time under the age of 16.An extract from the Care Inspectorate report said: “Three young children were attending the service during the inspection visit.“The children were settled and relaxed in the childminder’s care.“We spoke with three parents of children who attend the service by telephone consultation.
