Autistic schoolboy 'wanted to die' after being 'restrained and secluded by teachers'

school caused a pupil with autism to try and throw himself from a car at 60mph, a concerned mother has claimed. Emma McAfee is now home schooling her 13-year-old son Eliot who she said has has come on in leaps and bounds since being removed from an education system she claims failed him.

She believes her son was restrained by teachers at least 137 times over a course of three years for not doing what was asked of him, the Belfast Live reported.
