PA Media has become the latest news agency to withdraw a photo of the Princess of the Wales over concerns the image has been digitally altered.
A spokesperson for the UK’s national news agency confirmed the image, which was released by Kensington Palace on Sunday, would be removed from its picture service.
The agency said it was "seeking clarification" on whether the photo had been altered. The image of Kate and her three children, which was said by the palace to have been taken by the Prince of Wales, was posted on social media alongside a Mother's Day message.
It was the first image of the princess, who has been recovering from abdominal surgery, released since Christmas.
