This weekend sees a host of Britain's Got Talent hopefuls performing on ITV in an attempt to hit the big time. Contestants from across the country are vying to impress judges Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell enough to bag a spot at the Royal Variety Performance and net a cool £250,000 in prize money.
But one contestant must surely set a show record. David Watson, a magician from Altrincham, Greater Manchester, competed on the talent competition an impressive 12 times.
Sadly, David was discovered dead at home in December 2021, after concerns raised by his family who couldn't reach him. His passing was deemed non-suspicious.
BGT shared the news via their Twitter account, saying: "We are deeply saddened to hear the news of the passing of David J. Watson.
