Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Amanda Holden fans were jokingly encouraging each other to complain as they were left dazzled by her appearance during the Britain's Got Talent final.

The show judge was back for one last time this series on Sunday (June 2) alongside Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli.

Eleven acts performed live in a bid to be crowned the winner of the 17th edition of the ITV talent series. Singer Sydnie Christie was in the end announced as the winner of Britain's Got Talent 2024 and burst into tears as presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly revealed she had scooped the £250,000 prize, as well as a spot on the bill at the upcoming Royal Variety Performance.

She won following a show stopping performance of Somewhere Over The Rainbow to close the live show and said upon discovering the news: "I don’t know what to say, I cannot believe the amount of love that I’ve felt.
