The Greate British Bake Off is back and the new crop of 12 keen bakers have taken to the iconic tent in a bid to sweeten up the judges and be crowned the ultimate baker of the 2023 series - with a fresh new hosting duo which has delighted viewers. This Morning star Alison Hammond made her debut alongside usual co-host Noel Fielding last night and Channel 4 fans feel like a breath of fresh air has been injected into the show as they are loving the duo together. The 48-year-old ITV presenter has brought her truly iconic humour to the baking competition, which will see the contestants battle against each other in a series of gruelling technicals and showstoppers for judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood.Fans took to social media shortly after the launch night airing on Tuesday, as one moment particularly had viewers "floored" with laughter when Noel explained this week's technical challenge of creating the classic chocolate ganache cake. The cake, which is previewed in the opening credits of the show, was to be decorated with raspberries and the bakers were all warned it has to have one non-negotiable requirement.Just as Noel was about to say the word "moist" Alison interjected him and shouted it as their synchronised quip had the presenter in stitches of laugher - and it appears her infectious laugh set people off at home."I just spat out my drink all over the sofa, floor and my clothes after Alison Hammond decided to out of nowhere say 'moist'," said one viewer as they took to social media.Another wrote: "Alison has been itching to say moist since the second she arrived in that tent," as a third added:"Alison saying moist floored me."A fourth person wrote: "#GBBO is the only time the word "moist" can ever be used.
