Alison Hammond was taken by surprise during Friday's instalment of This Morning as she was proposed to live on air. The star was presenting the ITV show alongside co-host Dermot O'Leary when she was propositioned during an interview.One guest who was appearing with football team Brentford Penguins made a beeline for the Bake Off host, telling the 48-year-old she was "so hot" before popping the question.

The sweet sentiment comes after Alison hinted there could be romance on the cards again as she confirmed she has been getting "jiggy jig" with a mystery man.The star appeared on Loose Women Live alongside her ITV colleagues at the London Palladium earlier this week where she was joined by fellow presenters Christine Lampard, Denise Welch, Brenda Edwards, Linda Robson and Janet Street-Porter.Christine put out a cheeky question to the panel, as she asked: "Who's having the most jiggy jigs," to which Alison jokingly responded: "How’s Birmingham doing?
