Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski put a good word in for Motherwell, but midfielder Davor Zdravkovski was already sold on a move to the Scottish Premiership anyway.Zdravkovski, 25, consulted a fellow North Macedonian who he played with at youth level, and admits it will help to have a countryman in Scotland.But Zdravkovski says he wanted to make the move out of his comfort zone after six years in Cyprus with AEL Limassol.He said: “I played with Bojan in the youth level and I had a chat with him before I came here, and he explained to me some things about the league, which I knew before, but he was very supportive in my decision.“I’m coming to Scotland and he was excited to have one of his friends here as well, so he helped me a bit, explaining things a bit, but I already knew what was going to be here.“I had been following a lot the Scottish league in general, and I think Motherwell is going to be a huge step in my career.“The manager had a big role for me to come here, we spoke before as well, and they’re known as being a bit of a bounce for the younger players in the past.“I know I can help the club first of all, and the club at the end of the day can help me as well.“Moving to Scotland was a huge challenge, to be honest, but this is what I wanted, because I had been so many years in Cyprus.“I had some offers from countries around Cyprus, but I wanted something out of my comfort zone, and I saw the Scottish Premiership as a challenge.“I’m the type of guy who will never refuse challenges, and I’m just willing to improve, so this was the right decision.”Zdravkovski sees Motherwell as the next important step in his career and hopes to impress.He said: “It excites me, because when you’re growing up you have dreams and goals,
