XYZ Picks Up U.S. Rights To Martial Arts Alien Invasion Pic ‘Skyline: Warpath’ Starring Iko Uwais & Scott Adkins; First Look Images Revealed
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: XYZ Films has acquired all U.S. rights to distribute under-the-radar martial arts sci-fi action threequel Skyline: Warpath, written and directed by Liam O’Donnell (Beyond Skyline) and starring Iko Uwais (The Raid Franchise) and Scott Adkins (Undisputed).
Louis Mandylor, Randall J. Bacon and Yayan Ruhain round out the cast. XYZ Films will release domestically in early 2025. Set within the ‘Skyline‘ universe and five years after the events of Beyond Skyline, the completed movie follows Sua (Uwais) as he leads The Resistance against the aliens.
When he discovers the powerful alien Radial Gauntlet, he must deal with both the corrupt Eric (Adkins) and the army of alien invaders.
Above and below are first look images. Pic is produced by Matthew Chausse and Evangelo Kioussis. The deal was negotiated by Chausse on behalf of the filmmakers with Maxime Cottray from XYZ Films.
