Woman shamed by boyfriend for 'gross' toilet habit - but many are on her side

A woman has been left questioning her habits after her boyfriend became 'grossed out' when coming across one of her bathroom rituals.It's not a surprise that many of us choose to be discreet about what we do in the bathroom, even hiding it from our partners or people that we live with.The girlfriend, who shared her dilemma on Reddit, had originally tried to hide her toilet habit from her partner who she'd just moved in with.

When he discovered it, he was 'disgusted' - but many people on social media are actually on the woman's side. The Mirror reports that the couple, who have been together for two years, decided to take the plunge and move in together.

She is a second generation immigrant, who was born in the US to Indian parents, and grew up with a bidet in the bathroom.To avoid the cost of installing a bidet in her new place, she explained how she'd been using a portable one from Amazon, which her boyfriend found when looking for something in the drawer. "He came to me and asked me what it was - I told him as much," she explained on Reddit . "At first he was taken aback and I thought he's just curious so I didn't think much of it until I answered how I use it. "Skip this part if you don't want to get grossed out.

Generally, after I wipe my bum with TP [toilet paper] properly, I wash down the area using my hands (one hand I hold my bidet and squeeze it repeatedly to squirt the water, other I use to rub my butt) and wipe my area dry again with TP.
