A woman says she is 'relieved' that her name is going 'extinct' after years of people 'mispronouncing and spelling it wrong'.
A team of researchers at Pregnacare by Vitabiotics recently released a list of baby names set to become obsolete by 2023, with many names that were once a hit with mums and dads now falling out of favour.
The study analysed government data from 1996 to 2022 looking at the number of babies born with each name, before using this information to predict the names that will be the least popular in the new year.
The list included 40 girls names and 40 boys names, with the likes of Carolyn, Debra, Gladys, and Meryl for girls and Billie, Chandler, Greg, Stevie, and Walt for boys all set to disappear.
