Paul Mullin is preparing for a return to the EFL following two goal-laden years playing in the National League for Wrexham. The 28-year-old scored 64 goals in 84 matches while playing for the Dragons in the fifth tier of English football and will now be hoping to replicate those remarkable numbers as he returns to League Two.
He will be confident, having been named as the division's player of the season during his final season at Cambridge United in 2020/21.
He signed for Wrexham following that 32-goal campaign in the fourth tier, becoming a star of the club's 'Welcome to Wrexham' series on Disney+.
Mullin has also established himself as one of the English football pyramid's most prolific goalscorers - with nine goals in 2022/23 earning him the FA Cup Golden Ball award for the competition's top scorer.
