Joining the cobbles at Coronation Street as Sarge Bailey and already filming scenes at the ITV studios in Manchester, eagle-eyed fans will notice that this isn't a first soap rodeo for the stalwart actor.
Making his TV comeback and his second stint in a soap, the Guyanese-British actor and musician played Cedric Lucas on EastEnders in September 2006 and is best known for playing Augustus 'Porkpie' Grant in the infamous Channel 4 sitcom Desmond's, followed by its spin-off series Porkpie.
Ram is no stranger to other TV work with a whole host of impressive credits against his name such as Casualty, Doctors and Holby City.
