The series—about the lopsided dynamic between a 15-year-old girl named Ginny and her mom, 30-something Georgia—can be totally off-the-wall, but that's also the fun of it, especially thanks to the sensational cast .“Just when you thought you knew what to expect from Ginny & Georgia, season two is going to surprise you,” creator Sarah Lampert and showrunner Debra J.

Season two just hits different.”In the season-one finale, Ginny finally found out that her mother had poisoned her stepfather and that he hadn't died of natural causes, as Georgia initially said. (Georgia witnessed Kenny, Ginny's stepdad, suggestively put his hands on her daughter, which understandably was devastating to Georgia.) But as soon as Ginny found out about Georgia's secret, she fled home, taking her little brother, Austin, with her.
