A West Lothian barbers has proved it’s a cut above after being named the best in Scotland.Aaron Michaels Barber won the Best Barbershop title at the Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards (SHABA) recently.The business has two branches at Main Street in Livingston Village and George Street, Bathgate.Staff were thrilled on the night and thanked loyal customers for their success.Manager Scott MacGregor said: “This is a massive achievement for the team and business and we couldn’t have made it without our fantastic clients!“Thanks to your reviews, social media interaction and support over the last year, we’ve been able to accomplish so much.“This year saw a huge swing in a positive direction for the team.“We’ve had regular training from industry leaders, had photography done by the best in the business, been featured in numerous magazines for our work and ran a few training nights of our own to support the up and coming barbers from all over West Lothian.“We’re now in the process of building a photography studio to further support local businesses with their marketing needs! “From an internal perspective, we’ve trained up a mental health first aider to provide our staff with help during harder times and then went on to provide our team with private healthcare to keep them feeling their best. “The hair and beauty industry can be especially trying sometimes, so we’re doing our best to keep our team happy, healthy and all trained up in order to provide you with the best haircuts, atmosphere and experience on every visit to our shops.“These opportunities and positive changes within our business all led up to this momentous achievement and would not have been possible without your continued support and custom.“So this award is as much
