The coronavirus death toll in Ayrshire has dropped by 33 per cent compared to the previous week, latest government figures have shown.Weekly figures, released this afternoon, show that, as of May 31, the total number of deaths from the coronavirus stood at 276.The weekly death toll in Ayrshire, between 25th and 31st May, shows that 14 people lost their lives- compared to 21 the previous week, representing a big reduction in the number of fatalities.Over the same reporting period, six people in South Ayrshire lost their lives as a result of the virus.Two people died in care homes and four others passed away in hospital.In East Ayrshire, one person died in hospital, while other died in a care home.North Ayrshire’s figures show that three
