Fontaines D.C. have performed the brooding title track of their upcoming album ‘Romance’ on their European festival tour – check out the footage below.The band have been playing a number of shows around the continent this month, with ‘Romance’ often serving as the opening track.

The song, which has not yet been released, received its live premiere in Brooklyn in May, after it had featured in the band’s The Shining-inspired teaser video a month earlier.Now, a performance of the track has been captured in fan footage from a show in Vilnius, Lithuania on June 16.

Watch below:Opening on a prolongued, crawling bassline, the track simmers with tension, while Chatten sings, “Into the darkness again / In with the pigs in the pen / God knows I love you / Screws in my head / I will be beside you / ‘Til you’re dead”.For UK fans eager to catch the band, they announced a run of three intimate album launch shows to take place in August – in Kingston’s Pryzm on the 27th, Liverpool’s Content on the 28th and Newcastle’s Boiler Shop on the 29th.
