Volunteers at long-standing Lanarkshire charity awarded for their work

A number of awards were presented to volunteers at the Machan Trust in Larkhall last week.The Lanarkshire charity offers a range of services to children, young people and their families within schools and the wider community, such as breakfast, lunch and after school groups, and a number of youth activities.

Monica Lennon , Central Scotland MSP, was invited along to the awards ceremony at the Old Schoolhouse to present several awards, including long service awards to four volunteers – Pam Colligan, Bob Allan, and Robert and RoseMay Clarkson – who have each volunteered for over 20 years.
