MSP says 'lessons must be learned' after shamed Lanarkshire doctor's conviction

An MSP has commended the bravery of the sex crime victims of shamed Lanarkshire doctor, Krishna Singh. The 72-year-old GP was convicted of 54 charges against 48 female patients on Thursday after a two-month trial at the High Court in Glasgow.

Ms Lennon told Lanarkshire Live : “Krishna Singh harmed and sexually assaulted women under his trusted medical care for decades. “It is thanks to the courage of these survivors, many from Lanarkshire, that he has been brought to justice and rightly convicted for his vile sexual crimes, and I hope he is served with the toughest possible sentence.“If he hasn't already been stripped of his MBE – awarded in 2013 in recognition for services to healthcare - then he should be, immediately.“Other crimes may have gone
