Virgin Atlantic staff will now be able display tattoos in a major policy change. Before this policy update, staff who had been inked would have to request a special long-sleeved uniform to cover their arms.
The long-haul airline, owned by Sir Richard Branson is expecting to recruit another 300 cabin crew as air travel returns to normal following recent restrictions.
The airline says that it wants to embrace their employee's unique identities which they may wish to express through their tattoos.
Under the new rules neck, face and head tattoos must still be covered, but this restriction is currently under review, Hull Live reports.
