In a statement released on Monday, 26 August, his family announced: “Sven-Goran Eriksson has passed away. After a long illness, SGE died during the morning at home surrounded by family." And while tributes have since poured in, Ulrika, who hit headlines in 2002 when news broke of her affair with Sven, has so far failed to acknowledge his death.
Instead, the 57 year old posted a tribute to her pet dog to mark National Dog Day, writing: "#nationaldogday every day." She later shared another photo of the pooch sleeping in her bed before showing off her sourdough toast breakfast.
