Mohammad Akram, 54, and Christopher Worden, 56, both appeared at Manchester Magistrates Court this afternoon. They are each charged with racially aggravated assault by beating and an alternative offence of assault by beating.
Mr Akram, of Bolton, and Mr Worden, of Oldham, both entered not guilty pleas to the offences. Prosecuting, Nicola Morgan told the court that both men were security guards at the University of Manchester campus in Fallowfield on November 14 2020.
