Twilight hit theaters 15 years ago today on November 21, 2008 and we’re taking a look back at the author’s dream casting for the roles, before the films were made.

Author Stephenie Meyer, who wrote the Twilight book series, shared a blog post she wrote from 2007 that has recently resurfaced with her original actor and actress choices to play the title characters in the movies!

Back in 2007, before the first movie was made, Stephenie wrote on her blog, “My opinions on the movie matter to no one.

I have no influence on what goes on with the movie at all. No one is going to ask who I think should star in Twilight.” So basically, Stephenie‘s opinions on who should be cast weren’t taken into consideration.
