Tributes paid to 'lovely couple' killed in horror crash on Scots road as community mourns tragic loss

Tributes have been paid to a "lovely couple" who died in a horror crash on a Scots road on Thursday. John Drever, 39, and Vikki Drever, 34, passed away following the one vehicle accident on the B9068 in Sanday, Orkney Isles.

Devastated friends and locals have now taken to social media to express their sadness following the tragedy.Many also took the opportunity to send their condolences to Mr and Mrs Drever's loved ones and offer comfort to those in the close-knit community of Sanday.One person said: "Very sad news.

I could not believe it when I was told."I knew them both well and my condolences to their families."Another wrote: "A stark reminder that tomorrow is not guaranteed, I knew them both and it's hard to imagine folks my age are no longer with us due to an accident."Bloody tragic."A third said: "You will both be missed by so many people.
