A trial date has been set for a man accused of murdering a woman whose body has never been found. Alisha Apostoloff-Boyarin, from Ashton-under-Lyne, disappeared aged 24 on February 2, 2022.

She was last seen eight days earlier, in a gold Volkswagen Passat, being driven through Derbyshire. Her body has never been found. At a further case management hearing today at Manchester Crown Court, legal and administration matters were discussed that cannot be reported at this stage.

Mr Taylor, of Oak Avenue, Willington, did not attend the hearing. The case has been listed for trial on October 7 this year.
