Travel warning as Liverpool to Manchester trains disrupted

Urgent repairs are being carried out to the track at Huyton, causing disruption to the service. The disruption is expected “until the end of the day” and affects services in both directions.
Passengers are advised to check for any updates before they travel. TransPennine Express issued the update on Twitter, saying: “Due to urgent repairs to the track at Huyton some lines are blocked.
