Toy Appeal ends on a high note with bumper cash boost from Lanarkshire boxing gym

The Advertiser's Christmas Toy Appeal certainly ended on a high note this year after a bumper cash boost from a Lanarkshire boxing gym.Courtesy of the popular Fighting Scots Gym in Bellshill, we were delighted to receive the amazing sum of £3500 this week after members participated in a mammoth 50,000 metre challenge over the course of a day.Several gym members, including owners Francis and Kerry Gilluley, of Bothwell, took part in the challenge as well as their pals and family members in Dubai, which saw donations flooding in for our appeal.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
