A huge police presence descended on the incident on Hyde Road, in Denton, at around 7pm. The man was seen walking across the roofs of terraced houses close to the Nisa Local store.
The suspect was seen pulling tiles off the roof of a house as officers swarmed the area on blue lights following reports of a 'disturbance'. The man, wearing a pair of shorts, was seen kneeling beside a chimney before walking across the roofs of numerous homes. Officers could be heard shouting towards him, along with bystanders watching on, before he is seen pulling up two roof tiles from one house on the stretch.
