Tina Turner gave her followers some health advice just weeks prior to her death as the star shared a personal post with her Instagram followers.The singer- best known for songs like Proud Mary and The Best- urged her followers to "show their kidneys love" in one of her last posts on social media following, her experience with her health in the past.It was announced on Wednesday that the Rock 'n' Roll Queen had died "peacefully" at the age of 83, whilst at her home in Switzerland reports the Mirror.
The tragic news has prompted a flood of tributes, whose decades-long career saw her win numerous Grammy Awards and be the subject of a biopic reports the Mirror.In 2018, her life was adapted into a jukebox musical – featuring a number of her songs.One of her final Instagram posts marked International World Kidney Day, which noded to the kidney transplant she received years ago.
She wrote: "Today is International World Kidney Day. Why is it important? Because kidneys fail without pain. And that's why I'm telling you today: Show your kidneys love!
They deserve it. "My kidneys are victims of my not realising that my high blood pressure should have been treated with conventional medicine.
