Three teens rushed to hospital after 'drug-related incident' near West Lothian school

Three teenage girls have been rushed to hospital following an alleged ‘drugs-related incident’ near a school in West Lothian.Emergency services raced to Eastwood Park in Livingston after the alarm was raised at around 4.35pm on Tuesday.

Two girls, both aged 14, were found unwell at the scene, near Deans Community High School.Ambulance crews attended and they were taken to St John’s Hospital in Livingston for treatment.

The condition of both girls is currently unknown.A third 14-year-old girl, who was later found nearby, was also taken to hospital as a precaution.

A 15-year-old boy has now been charged in connection with the incident.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.35pm on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, we were made aware of two teenagers having taken unwell near Eastwood Park, Deans, Livingston.
