Ming-Na Wen, the actress who voiced the title role in the 1998 animated movie Mulan, has a cameo in the live-action remake of the film!
Near the end of the film, after Mulan has saved the Emperor of China and defeats the villainous Bori Khan, she is an invited guest at the palace.
A woman, who is credited as “Esteemed Guest,” introduces Mulan to the Emperor… and that’s Ming-Na! Her daughter Michaela is actually in the scene as well.
On the day of the film’s release, Ming-Na took to Instagram to promote the movie. She wrote, “Live-action #Mulan is finally out today on @disneyplus Premiere Access.
