THE Larkin's viewers were left raging at the second season of the ITV show - as they slammed the episodes as "daft". The ITV drama's second series began on Sunday night with Bradley, 62, once again taking on the role of Pop Larkin.

During the latest episode Ma and the children tried to convince Pop to take the court case seriously, but he had fun on his mind and conducted his own defence.

However viewers weren't impressed with the second season of the show as some branded the episodes "daft" and said the writing was "poor".

ITV viewers took to Twitter to share their frustrations on the show. One viewer wrote: "#Thelarkins really poor writing. Look to the original series and take notes.
