COUNTDOWN has announced a brand new host for its Dictionary Corner - leaving fans thrilled. The Channel 4 game show has revealed radio presenter Vick Hope has joined the programme.

Vick, 33, took to her Instagram account to announce the news to her excited fans. She is appearing on the much-loved show every day this week, alongside show favourite Susie Dent.

Announcing the news, Vick posted: "Aaaahhhh VICKTIONARY CORNER!!! So so SO excited to be joining the wonderful Countdown team on @channel4 every afternoon this week at 2 in Dictionary Corner! "The loveliest of times with the loveliest bunch, MAN I LOVE WORDS SO MUCH!

Thank you for having me, daada daada dadadada BUMMM." She also shared a number of snaps from the Countdown set, including with Rachel Riley and presenter Colin Murray.
