STRICTLY Come Dancing's Tony Adams got emotional on It Takes Two as he opened up about his difficult journey with sobriety. The 56-year-old footie ace withdrew from the competition on Sunday night due to injury, with his position in the bottom two proving to be the final straw.
Joined by pro partner Katya Jones on spin-off It Takes Two, Tony admitted his time on the show proved to be a massive emotional journey, and fought back tears as he spoke.
Following a highlights reel of his journey, Tony frankly admitted he was glad his appearance on the show opened doors for those struggling with mental health and sobriety.
Speaking to Rylan, he was held by Katya as he said: "It's been amazing, mate. This has been great. It's been fun coming on here every week and chatting to you guys. "It's been really fun.
