Follow OK! on Threads here: https://www.threads.net/@ok_mag Four years after announcing he'd been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, The Chase star Paul Sinha has had huge praise heaped onto him by his colleague Anne Hegerty.

Anne, 65 - known as The Governess on the much-loved ITV game show - was representing the quizzing series at last night's National Reality TV Awards, 31 July. The Chase not only bagged the Best Game Show award, but Anne also walked away with the prize for Best Presenter at the London soiree.

And whilst speaking to Daily Star and other press on the red carpet, prior to the glitzy awards ceremony, Anne insisted that her dear friend and fellow 'Chaser' Paul remains at the top of his game, despite recent health concerns. "I'd say the best quizzer out of all of us is Paul," she gushed. "He won the British Champions a few years ago, he's very good indeed." Anne - who last year jumped to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield's defence after a public outcry - continued of her on-screen pal: "Parkinson's isn't slowing him down, he seems fine. "He's on medication.

His husband is very helpful and comes to work with him and helps him dress so he's got the support." Quizmaster Paul, 53, was diagnosed with the condition in 2019 and shared the news of his diagnosis with fans in an emotional social media post.
