Researchers discovered that people with a higher omega-3 fatty acid intake, such as from these fish oil omega-3 capsules (priced at £6.50 for 90 at Tesco, for example), scored higher on cognitive tests.
The findings suggest that incorporating omega-3-rich foods like fish and certain plant oils into the diet could support cognitive health as people age, according to data published in The International Journal of Psychiatry in Medicine.
