Taylor Swift has delighted fans after announcing the release of a new album. The singer revealed that she has re-recorded her fifth studio album 1989, to be released in October.
The album will also feature five previously unreleased tracks from The Vault. Following a dispute with her old label, Taylor has re-recorded and re-released four LPs in a bid to reclaim her masters.
The exciting news comes around a month after Speak Now (Taylor's Version) dropped - which included six previously unreleased songs from The Vault, two of which featured special guests: Paramore's Hayley Williams and Fall Out Boy. During Taylor's sixth consecutive night at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, last night (August 9), she announced 1989 (Taylor's Version) is on its way.
Meanwhile in a tweet, she said: "The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with such excitement to announce that my version of it will be out October 27th. "To be perfectly honest, this is my most FAVORITE re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane.
