‘Succession’ star Brian Cox thinks Logan Roy was killed off ‘too early’

the HBO drama “Succession” “too early.”The 76-year-old actor gave one of his first big interviews since the stunning death of media patriarch Logan Roy to BBC Two’s Amol Rajan Interviews for an episode airing Wednesday.Cox reportedly states the killing of his character last month during a plane ride in the third episode of Season 4 was “ultimately too early.”Instead, Cox thinks it would have been appropriate for Logan to die in the fifth or sixth episode of the 10-episode final season. “I was fine with it, ultimately, but I did feel a little bit rejected,” he said. “You know, I felt a little bit, oh, all the work I’ve done and finally I’m going to, you know, end up as an ear on a carpet of a plane,” Cox added.

The “Braveheart” actor did, however, admit that Logan’s off-camera demise was done “in a pretty brilliant way,” although he took it “wrongly, as a form of rejection.”The Post has contacted HBO reps for comment.

Cox further claimed that he filmed Logan’s funeral scenes over a year and a half ago, so paparazzi wouldn’t know it was Logan who died.

The Scotland native said he was told he didn’t need to attend the filming of additional scenes, but did so “on [his] own volition” so that cameras would catch Logan alive at what would become his own funeral.In a shocking twist, Cox told Rajan that Logan could actually still be alive. “I still believe this: maybe Logan isn’t dead,” he posited. “This could be part of an elaborate ruse to find out.
