Strictly's Neil Jones 'doesn't mind' if he gets celebrity partner or not after BBC snub
dailyrecord.co.ukNeil Jones has spoken out admitting he 'doesn't mind' whether or not he gets a celebrity partner on Strictly Come Dancing.The Strictly pro, 41, recently welcomed a baby girl with his Love Island star fiancée Chyna Mills, 24, after a whirlwind romance.
Neil has worked on the BBC ballroom dancing show for the last six years, but has only ever had two partners on the series - Alex Scott, 38, in 2019 and Nina Wadia, 54, in 2021.
This year, fellow Strictly pro Nadiya Bychkova also missed out on a celebrity partner for the first time prompting backlash from fans of the show.
However, speaking to OK! Magazine, Neil admits he doesn't mind missing out but is always happy to receive a call from BBC bosses."I always say that everything happens for a reason," Neil said. "Every year when I get the call from Strictly, I say, 'I don't mind whether I have a partner or not, honestly, I'm not bothered at all.'"If I do have a partner then, great, I take them aside and ask what they want from this process.
