It's time for lights, camera, action in the ballroom as Strictly Come Dancing is back for week three of the competition and viewers may want to grab their popcorn as the 14 remaining couples are taking us to the movies.
Things got serious in the BBC One dance contest last weekend as the first dance-off of the 2023 series took place resulting in the first couple being given the boot from the competition.
Saturday night saw musical theatre star Layton Williams wow as he was awarded the highest score of the series so far with four nines from the judges – 36 points in total.
The 29-year-old performed with professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin and danced the quickstep to Puttin' On The Ritz. The series' only same-sex dance couple performed last and impressed all the judges, including Craig Revel Horwood, who said Williams’ talent was “ridiculous” while head udge Shirley Ballas said she was "lost for words".
