Strictly Come Dancing star Nigel Harman has spoken out after receiving critical comments from one of the show's judges following his latest performance.

Strictly judge Shirley Ballas came under fire on Saturday night for being 'picky' over the former EastEnders actor's performance.

The audience could be heard booing as she criticised Nigel Harman's Viennese Waltz - prompting the head judge to snap back '"hold on a minute, you might learn something." This prompted viewers to take to social media, defending Shirley's constructive feedback.

After surviving week two of the dancing contest, Nigel and his professional dancing partner Katya Jones appeared on Strictly Come Dancing's spin-off show It Takes Two yesterday (Tuesday) to talk about this Saturday's performance.
