Strictly's Nadiya Bychkova breaks silence on 'disappointing' decision to leave her out of show
dailyrecord.co.ukStrictly Come Dancing professional Nadiya Bychkova has broken her silence on missing out on the 2023 series following Saturday night's launch show, after she was flooded with support from fans watching at home.The 34-year-old BBC dancing star, who is currently dating her co-star Kai Widdrington, has been paired with a celebrity on the show for the past five years, since making her debut back in 2017.
Nadiya's height was the main factor in her being snubbed from this year's line-up as EastEnders star Bobby Brazier was the only suitable celeb for her to be paired with.
According to reports their 14-year age gap was also a worry as bosses didn't think it would be 'acceptable.'Rumours have been circulating that the mum-of-one has been left 'seething' at not being able to participate this year.
She has now broken her silence on Instagram following the launch show at the weekend."I’m sure you’ll understand that I'm disappointed not to be partnered with a celebrity on @bbcstrictly this series," Nadiya told her 170k followers on Instagram alongside a snap of her glowing in a golden glitzy outfit from Strictly.
