‘Starfield’ fans have extremely mixed reactions to ‘Shattered Space’ DLC
nme.comStarfield‘s Shattered Space DLC launched earlier this week (September 30) and fans have given their verdict on the expansion.YouTuber MRMattyPlays wrote on X/Twitter that “Starfield: Shattered Space is not good.
At all,” before adding: “The exploration is still (somehow) extremely lacking, the main story is ridiculously short, it ran like crap on Series X performance mode, there isn’t any new companions, Andreja barely reacts to what happens around her despite how the base game builds her story, and this list goes on.”Another YouTuber, Luke Stephens, also disliked the expansion.
He wrote: “Finished #ShatteredSpace, accidentally, in an afternoon. I thought there’d be a lot more, but the main story is VERY short.
Simply, it’s more Starfield. The writing is painfully dry, the characters act like they don’t want to be here, and the lack of optimization is painful.”Inverse‘s Trone Dowd wrote about how the expansion continues a frustrating crutch in many of Bethesda’s worlds.
