‘Squid Game’ Season 2 To Premiere In 2024 Alongside New Seasons Of ‘Bridgerton’ & ‘The Diplomat’

It will debut alongside the second seasons of The Diplomat and Empress as well as the third season of Bridgerton. “Looking ahead, despite last year’s strikes pushing back the launch of some titles, we have a big, bold slate for 2024,” the company said in its investor letter after its financials.
Squid Game debuted on Netflix on September 17, 2021, and became a global phenomenon. The series clocked over 1.65B viewing hours in 28 days and reached 111 million accounts, becoming Netflix’s first series to surpass 100 million members at launch.

Gong Yoo will be coming back as well. New cast includes Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-Neul, Park Sung-hoon and Yang Dong-geun as well as Park Gyu-young, Jo Yu-ri, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Lee Jin-uk, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won and Won Ji-an.
